I would exercise if I had more time…
I wish I could afford a fitness program…
Common lamentations from those who wish they were in better shape. How much is your health worth? How much does it cost?
According to the American Heart Association, those who exercise live on average seven years longer than those who don’t, not to mention, improved QUALITY of life. Look at exercise as an investment-every hour you spend exercising you will have returned to you and more! So stop making excuses and make time.
But I can’t afford it! Sam Maloof, the greatest woodworker of all time has a canoe hanging from his ceiling in his house turned museum in Alta Loma, CA. It was a gift from a young man that had spent time with Sam and had learned woodworking skills from him. He called him one day and asked for help, for no one was buying his $25,000 hand carved canoes. Sam told him that he wasn’t charging enough. He raised the price to $100,000 and couldn’t keep up with the orders. As a token of gratitude, he gave one to his old friend.
